The year of resurrection - SRT

2010 will always be remembered for one great innings, the moment everyone has been waiting for 30+ years - the first double hundred in ODI. And no one else deserves the ovation for achieving that goal other than Sachin Tendulkar. This last year since NZ tour of 2009-2010 has been phenomenal for SRT. 169, 175 and 200 are few scores he made in ODI's. In test cricket he has been unstoppable, with 2010 being his best ever, scoring close to 1500 test runs in one calendar year.

That his best year has been 21st in professional international cricket is just amazing. The man just goes on and on. No wonder he was awarded cricketer of the year 2010. I look forward to 2011 with a hope that India wins the world cup and Sachin would be there to pick his most prized possession - the coveted WC 2011 trophy at his home ground.

The stage is all set. The finale has been planned just for him. For us mortals, we just wait and watch in awe as the master plays his tunes. Long Live SRT, bow to the master.
